Mr. Zhang Zongwu, The General Secretary of our Foundation visited the Embassy of Vietnam
On the morning of September 27th , Mr. Zhang Zongwu, the General Secretary of our foundation, visited the Embassy of Vietnam and received warm reception from Mr. Nguyen Dac Thanh, the minister counsellor of the Embassy of Vietnam. They had a good talk together.

Mr. Nguyen Dac Than expressed warm welcome to our visiting and heartfelt thanks to our contribution to put forward the “One Belt & One Road” Policy. As one of the most important country along the “One Belt & One Road”, Vietnam has paid great attention to the bilateral economic and trade development. In September, 2016, the Premier of Vietnam visited China for the first time, and many agreements have been made in terms of bilateral trade, which aims to further cooperation and promote the rapid development. As the bridge of mutual communication, the embassy of Vietnam will facilitate bilateral trade to the fullest. He also mentioned that as a developing country, Vietnam has a large demand in infrastructure, road and railway construction. Vietnam mainly exports agricultural products to China, one of the most important partners and imports raw materials and mechanical equipment from China. They are eager to further the cooperation, strengthen the exchanges and infuse new energy to bilateral trade with the platform we provide.
Mr. Zhang Zongwu showed thanks to the warm reception. He gave a brief introduction of the background, function and achievement of our foundation. In response of the call of “One Belt & One Road” Policy, our foundation is devoted to further the cooperation with “Belt & Road” countries. As the platform of facilitating exchanges between nations, we will spare every effort to help Vietnam to find suitable Chinese investors by organizing forums, meeting or panels, and put the agreements in practice. On one hand, with the medium of our international trade companies, we will help Vietnam bring in advanced technologies, mechanical equipment, and products from China, on the other hand, we will help promote the advantageous products of Vietnam to China, so as to complement each other's advantages and achieve bilateral trade boom. We also express the good wishes to keep freely communication, share trade information and extend collaboration in order to provide good opportunities for mutual friendly communication and cooperation.
This meeting ended in a pleasant atmosphere, which accelerates the friendship between our foundation and the Embassy of Vietnam. We hope that more trade opportunities will be created and will benefit more people of two countries with the concerted effort.
