Secretary General of our foundation attended the 45 anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between People's Republic of China and the Republic of Rwanda

On the evening of November 4th, on the invitation of Rwanda embassy, Mr. Zhang Zongwu, Secretary General of our foundation attended the 45 anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between People's Republic of China and the Republic of Rwanda, and was warmly received by Mr. Charles Kayonga, the ambassador of Rwanda embassy to China and his wife. Chinese and foreign guests that attended the reception including Mr. Wang Zhengwei, vice chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, Ms. Zhang Qiujian, Deputy Secretary General of the CPPCC National Committee, Ms. Lin Yi, vice president of the Chinese people's Association for friendship with foreign countries, Ms. Louise Mushikiwabo, Minister of foreign affairs and cooperation of Rwanda, diplomats from various countries and representatives from Business associations and various industries.

Mr. Charles Kayonga delivers welcoming speech 

Mr. Charles Kayonga extended the warmest welcome to the present distinguished guests in his welcoming speech. He thanked Chinese and foreign guests for their strong support to Rwanda embassy. He illustrated the development course and brilliant achievements that has been achieved since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Rwanda and People's Republic of China, and introduced the general situation of his country and its advantage industry, hoping that Rwanda and China can deepen cooperation in more areas. Mr. Ambassador also expressed wishes for the friendship between the two countries, and welcomed Chinese enterprises to invest in Rwanda, so as to promote bilateral communication.

Mr. Zhang Zongwu had a cordial talk with Mr. Charles Kayonga during the reception. He mentioned that our foundation has been keeping a good partnership with Rwanda embassy. He thanked Mr. Charles Kayonga for his support to our activities. Our foundation will continue to look for suitable cooperation partners for Rwanda embassy, so as to build communication platform and promote common development of economic and trade of both sides. At the same time, representatives of our foundation also had a pleasant talk with diplomats from other countries, business associations, which strengthened relationship.

Chinese and Rwandan traditional Chinese arts and cultural programs that showcased on the scene pushed the atmosphere to a climax. The reception came to an end in a friendly atmosphere. This reception strengthen relationship between our foundation and Rwandan embassy, and lay the solid foundation for the future cooperation. Long live the friendship between China and Rwanda!
