Our President visits the Embassy of the Republic of Tunisia

On the morning of February 15, our President Mr. Zhang Yi visited the Embassy of Tunisia at the invitation of the Ambassador H.E. Mr. Dhia Khaled. Both sides had a friendly meeting.
The ambassador first welcomed our visit. He mentioned that the Embassy cherishes the friendship with our foundation, and thanked for our contribution to the promotion of trade relations between China and Africa. He expressed the hope to strengthen ties with our foundation, in order to promote friendship and further cooperation. Tunisia has a strategic location in the north of Africa, west of Asia along the Mediterranean coast. Chinese enterprises are welcomed to invest in Tunisia as Tunisia has favorable investment climate. Meanwhile, the Embassy of Tunisia will provide trade information to our foundation, and seek partnership with Chinese enterprises through our foundation.
Mr. Zhang Yi first thanked His Excellency for his warm welcome, as well as the Embassy’s active participation in our trade activities. Our foundation will continue its support to the exchanges between two countries. At the same time, we hope to organize business trips to Tunisia, and encourage Chinese enterprises to build plants there. He mentioned that our China-Africa Friendly International Trade Company has wide range of business scope with rich experience in tendering. We will keep on acting as a bridge to promote bilateral business relations. Last but not least, Mr. Zhang Yi also invited the Ambassador to visit our foundation, and expressed hope for more fruitful results.
The meeting ended at a pleasant atmosphere, which helped deepen our traditional friendship with Embassy of Tunisia. Both sides will strive to create more opportunities for bilateral trade development to achieve win-win development.
