Our foundation attends the 2017 CIFTIS

From May 28th to June 1st,representatives of our foundation attended China International Fair for Trade in Services(CIFTIS), and were invited to attend forums and activities held by embassies from African countries and countries along the Belt and Road route, which helped Chinese enterprises to better understand the investment situation of the above countries and promoted international exchanges and cooperation.

The Forum of “African Day” would be organized on each CIFTIS, and this year’s African forum discussed African service and trade with the theme of “Co-build the future of Africa”, including agriculture, industry, tourism, communications, finance, logistics, medical, new energy, etc, all of which helped Chinese enterprises better understand investment environment in Africa. The African continent was in the period of industrial construction with huge investment potential. Our foundation would focus on long term interaction with African countries to provide a favorable platform for bilateral trade. Meanwhile, we would continue to promote cooperation with Africa in capacity and achieve common development of bilateral economy and trade.
Some of the countries along the Belt and Road route held promotions in the CIFTIS, explicitly introduced their the national condition, investment climate and investment policies and provided reference for Chinese enterprises. As for the Nordic region, "China - Russia Urban Cooperation Forum" made discussions on the international situation and common development in the context of the Belt and Road Initiative, the forum also provided new idea of "The road of peace", "the road of development", and "the road of innovation"; as for Southeast Asian region, Thailand highlighted its investment advantages in the medical, tourism and other fields; the Republic of Macedonia, a country in Eastern Europe, released information on infrastructure projects, which provided guidance for Chinese enterprises to invest in Macedonia; Qatar, the west Asian country that won the holding right of 2019 World Championships and 2022 World Cup, hoped to have extensive cooperation with Chinese enterprises in infrastructure construction, industry, high technology and other fields. At the same time, Qatar welcomed Chinese enterprises to actively participate in the Third Chinese Manufacturing Brand Exhibition which would be held in Doha in November.
The CIFTIS had built up a favorable platform for communication between governments and enterprises. Through the CIFTIS, representatives of our foundation had pleasant conversations with African countries and countries along the Belt and Road route, therefore enhanced bilateral friendship and achieved fruitful result. At the same time, we had learnt related experience, which could help us provide better service for enterprises, promoted further practice of“China-Africa Ten Major Cooperative Plans”and “the Belt and Road”Initiative.
