The President visits the Embassy of the Slovak Republic
On the morning of June 20th, Mr. Zhang Yi, president of our foundation visited H.E. Mr. Dusan Bella, the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic. Both sides had a pleasant conversation. H.E. Mr. Ambassador warmly welcomed the visit of our president and hoped to have extensive cooperation with our foundation.
President first showed his thanks to the Ambassador and his wife for their attending to the Belt and Road Economic and Trade Salon held in Zhengzhou, Henan Province in May. He hoped that the Embassy of Slovakia could continue to fully support our foundation, further intensify our friendship and assist enterprises from both countries to have multi-level cooperation in various fields. He mentioned, as one of the members of the EU, Slovakia was an important country along the Belt and Road route, which enjoys high-level economic development and favorable investment environment. In March of this year, our foundation established the One Belt and One Road Fund Management Committee, which aims to create favorable conditions for bilateral exchanges in economy, trade and culture by making full use of its own advantages.
H.E.Mr. Ambassador first appreciated the economic and trade activities organized by our foundation, which provided a good platform for free exchanges between the Slovak Embassy and the Chinese entrepreneurs. He said that he would assist our foundation in connecting relations with the government , Chamber of Commerce and other social organizations of Slovakia. He would help promote bilateral economic and trade exchanges through activities such as promotion, business fair and meeting etc. The Embassy would also provide our foundation with relevant economic and trade information, invite us to participate in the activities organized by the Embassy, hoping that the two sides could complement each other and have further cooperation. At the same time, the Ambassador would welcome Chinese enterprises to go on business trips to Slovak organized by our foundation and the Embassy would provide full support.
Afterwards, the two sides held in-depth discussions on relevant cooperation issues and achieved fruitful results. The meeting ended in a pleasant atmosphere. This visit enhanced the friendship between our foundation and Embassy of the Slovak Republic and laid the foundation for bilateral exchanges in economy, trade and culture, which made great contributions to the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative.
